Granulated lactose is the least hygroscopic of all grades of direct compression lactose. This property makes SuperTab® 30GR lactose ideal for formulations where control of total water content is important. In addition this product will have a positive contribution to content uniformity and disintegration time. In combination with its excellent flowability it is seen as an excellent choice when a formulation must retain good stability characteristics under stressed conditions.
